Activities

To help our students discover all that there is to see and  to do in Valencia, as well as enjoy and practice Spanish they learn, we organize cultural program. You will normally be accompanied by one of our teachers on these activities, so you get more opportunities to practice Spanish, and often see places that only the locals know! Many of these activities are free and others at only a low cost. They are suitable for students of all levels of Spanish, ages and abilities! Culture

Guided walks with tutors
As our school is located near the centre of Valencia there are many places of interest within walking distance of the school.

Evenings out
A great way to discover Valencia is to join our tutors on a tapas tour or salsa night, or a concert. We really know Valencia well, and these evenings are really popular with our students. The cost of the activity includes the personal consumption, the entrance or guide. The Spanish practice is free!

Visits to the city’s museums
Valencia itself is rich in culture and art. In the Fallas Museum you will find on display the best of the previous Fallas Ninots, while in the Museum of Ceramics you can admire the creative craftsmanship of historic Valencian artists. For modern or classic art lovers, there is the IVAM (Valencia Modern Art Museum) and the Museum of Fine Arts San Pio V.

Oceanografic
Built in the shape of a water lily, Oceanografic is the largest aquarium of Europe. Each building represents different aquatic environments including the Mediterranean, Tropical Seas, the Antarctic and the Arctic. It has 500 species of animals. Inside, you can find a spectacular restaurant and a dolphinarium.

Tastes of Spain

Paella
One of our friends cooks the paella in front of the students and after 45 minutes of cooking, you can taste it! Like all our daily activities, the paella party is a great way to listen to and use the Spanish language, and learn something really interesting about Spanish culture.

Wine cellar tour
Spain has much more to offer in wine than just well known Sangria. You can find so many great values in Spanish wine, delicious and cheap! And you also can get chance to visit with us one of the authentic wine cellar and taste perfect cellared wines.

You can join us in fantastic walk through the old city and finish it in one of the tapas bar where we’ll explain you what tapa is. Of course you can try any of them!

Picnic on the beach
Just 15 minutes away from the centre of you’ll find the Blue Flag beaches of Las Arenas, Malvarrosa and El Cabañal. Take a walk with us (can be done on bike) and enjoy the opportunity to make fantastic picnic just near the sea!

Sports activities

Bike tour
Valencia has an interesting mix of modern architecture and ancient buildings and cycling is the best way to soak up its atmosphere in a truly unique way. It is a perfectly sized city with a large bike lane that runs through from end to end. Enjoy a pleasant walk through the gardens of the old river Turia, along the promenade or even bike ride to the Albufera natural park. We have different interesting routs! Please note that despite being a free tour, we charge a small amount as a rent fee for the bike.

Horse riding
Our equestrian center El Pedregal offers classes and horse riding at all seasons. Our offer is designed for big and small horse lovers, who stay in Valencia or its surroundings.

Martial arts, swimming and so on…
Just let us know and we will find for you a martial art workshop, multifunctional sport club, swimming pool or even a wellness center, where you can break the routine and stress and, at the same time, practice your Spanish.

And much more!

We are continuously expanding the activities program, based on requests from our students . The above are just a few of the things we offer!
